Pensnett Estate Improvements Making Black Country Home Greener

With the COP26 United Nations climate change conference taking place in Glasgow, many of us are focusing on how we can make a positive difference to our local environment.

As a responsible landlord and asset manager, we are looking at how we can reduce our carbon emissions and are actively working towards being greener, these are not easy steps, but we are determined to play our part.

"

We are already making changes on The Pensnett Estate, our flagship trading estate, that will not only deliver environmental benefits, but will also help to improve tenants' wellbeing.

We've created a new footpath by LCP House, which will include 240 newly planted trees and a timber-stepped path through to a large wild flower meadow at the top of the bank that will be a rich source for attracting insects and other wildlife.

As well as environmental improvements, we've also replaced and extended the CCTV system on the estate to provide better coverage, and this includes the installation of Auto Number Plate Recognition (ANPR), which will help us to track vehicle movements and improve security.
